The Chief Liaison Officer, Abia State Liaison Office, Abuja, Hon. Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, has applauded Governor Alex Otti for what he described as a historic infrastructural rebirth in Abia State, as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) visits to commission landmark projects including the long-awaited Port Harcourt Road, Aba.

Speaking ahead of the President’s visit, Hon. Chinasa praised Governor Otti’s vision and commitment to transforming Abia through people-focused projects that directly impact economic growth, trade, and mobility. He stressed that the reconstruction of Port Harcourt Road remains a turning point for Aba, a commercial hub that has suffered decades of neglect, infrastructural decay, and economic setbacks.

 

“Today, businesses and residents who endured hardship for decades are finally seeing relief. Port Harcourt Road is not just a road—it is a lifeline for commerce, connectivity, and economic revival in Abia State,” Chinasa stated.

He further highlighted the commissioning of Obohia Road and the newly rebuilt Michael Okpara Auditorium as part of the governor’s blueprint to reposition Abia as a model of good governance and development.
