‘Don’t Wish Death On Anyone No Matter Your Political Differences’ – Eniola Badmus

Nigerian actress, Eniola Badmus has reacted to a disturbing post made by a social media influencer who used their platform to wish death on an unnamed politician.

In a message shared on her Instagram page, Badmus expressed her disappointment with the post.

She stated that it was painful to see such behaviour, regardless of political differences.

Naija News reports that she reminded Nigerians that hate should never take the place of their humanity.

She wrote: “It’s truly disheartening to see a social media influencer use their platform to wish death on anyone at all. No matter your political views, we must never let hate override our humanity. As Nigerians, we are better than this. If we want change, let it be through dialogue, truth, and unity-not violence or death wishes. Let’s choose decency over division.”

Meanwhile, activist Adetoun Onajobi, has reacted to the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari, saying there is no reason for Nigerians to mourn a leader who failed to provide quality healthcare in his own country.

In a viral video seen by Naija News, the social commentator questioned why a president who spent years promising to build a presidential hospital ended up dying in a private hospital abroad.

According to Adetoun, Buhari’s administration was full of noise about building hospitals, yet he never trusted the country’s healthcare system when it mattered most.

She expressed frustration over the billions spent on medical trips abroad while ordinary Nigerians die daily in poor conditions at under-equipped general hospitals.
