2027: Why Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency Must Send Enyinnaya Duke Ako-Atulomah to Abuja

The people of Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency say 2027 must bring better service. Why many believe Duke Ako-Atulomah is the true voice for Abuja.
The Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency is at a political crossroads. After years of waiting in vain for true representation in the National Assembly, the people are demanding better service, accountability, and a leadership that translates their needs into action.
For many constituents, that leader is Enyinnaya Duke Ako-Atulomah—a man whose vision for 2027 is rooted in transforming the constituency into a hub of productivity, empowerment, and development.
Supporters of Duke Ako-Atulomah argue that the constituency’s hardworking people—farmers, traders, artisans, professionals, and youths—have endured too much neglect. Roads remain deplorable, electricity is unreliable, healthcare and schools are in dire need of attention, and unemployment continues to rise.
“Enough is enough,” one community elder said. “Our people are not asking for too much. We want someone who listens, someone who will fight for us in Abuja, not someone who disappears after elections.”

Known as the food basket of Abia State, Ikwuano deserves federal policies and projects that support agriculture, agro-processing, and modern storage facilities. Duke Ako-Atulomah has promised to champion these causes, ensuring that farmers and traders are empowered to prosper rather than ignored.
For years, rural communities have been abandoned. Constituents insist that Duke Ako-Atulomah represents a chance to bring home federal roads, rural electrification, potable water, and other infrastructure projects that will change daily life for ordinary people.
Thousands of young people in the constituency are educated yet unemployed. Duke Ako-Atulomah has outlined plans to attract federal empowerment programs, ICT hubs, skill acquisition centers, and entrepreneurship schemes. “Our youths will no longer be spectators; they will become stakeholders in development,” he assured.
Unlike politicians who vanish into Abuja after elections, Duke Ako-Atulomah has pledged accountability, visibility, and constant engagement with the people. Supporters say his leadership style is one of transparency, listening, and reporting back, which is exactly what Ikwuano/Umuahia has lacked for too long.
As 2027 draws closer, the message is gaining momentum across the constituency: “Ikwuano/Umuahia deserves better, and better is possible with Enyinnaya Duke Ako-Atulomah.”
